Outdoor Activities
While we were in St. Lucia we swam in the gentle waves of the Caribbean, saw marine animals & undersea wrecks diving and snorkeling with Dive Fair Helen, had an exciting zipline adventure with Rainforest Adventures, walked for miles on the beautiful beaches at Vigie, Choc Bay, Pigeon Island, Anse de Sable and Cas En Bas. We enjoyed the breezes at La Bas beach in Marigot Bay, watching the array of watercraft - the banana man on his surfboard, the racers & mega-yachts - while we chatted to island residents. We watched windsurfers from the Reef Cafe , while conducting an interview; visited waterfalls with David & Wanda Wallace of Nature's Paradise, drove up to the Roseau reservoir with our friends Marie & Veronique, visited the 'drive-in' volcano near Soufriere and explored small roads into the bush with historian Gregor Williams.
